West Ham Agree Terms with Hernandez

West Ham have confirmed they have agreed terms with Bayer Leverkusen for the transfer of former Manchester United striker Javier Hernandez.

The 29-year-old will travel to London over the weekend ahead of his £16million move, undertaking a medical before joining up with his new team-mates.

It will be a return to the Premier League for the Mexican front-man, who enjoyed four seasons at Manchester United - winning two Premier League titles in that time.

A statement on the Hammers website read: 'West Ham United and Bayer Leverkusen have agreed terms for the transfer of Javier Hernandez to London Stadium.

'The former Manchester United and Real Madrid striker will fly to London in the coming days to finalise personal terms and undergo a medical with the Hammers.

'Hernandez, 29, affectionately known as "Chicharito" across the globe, became Mexico's all-time leading goalscorer in May this year.'
